Remote Air Conditioning Systems (RACS)

In some cases it may not be possible to place the test item into a standard environmental test chamber. It could be too big or part of a larger structure that cannot be dismantled. For these applications a customised RACS (Remote Air Conditioning System) could be the answer. Pre conditioned temperature or temperature & humidity controlled air is supplied via flexible hoses to a temporary insulated enclosure housing the test item. RACS units can be compressor-cooled, liquid gas-cooled or a combination of both.

RACS Conversion Kit For Delta & BS Chambers

Where the demands of the test specification are not excessive a conversion kit can be used with a Delta or BS chamber to provide temperature or temperature / humidity conditioned air. Once converted the chamber becomes dual purpose and can easily be configured for either application.
